The Challenge

The ship’s project management company could repair the problem but needed to make certain the repair work was hidden from passengers who were at sea enjoying their vacations.  It turned to STARC Systems to help make the unsightly repair work disappear.

Our Solution

STARC jumped into action to help this unique and urgent repair situation- hundreds of miles away in international waters. The same day the sprinkler system problem was detected, the panels were picked up from STARC headquarters in Maine and transported overnight to a port located along the Mid-Atlantic coast. From there the shipment was transported out to the cruise ship at sea.

STARC deployed a special team to the cruise ship to deliver and install the panels. The installation was quick and easy. And most importantly, the STARC System provided sound attenuation and pleasing aesthetics, all important components to facilitate a repair that was undetected by passengers.

The Results

Ultimately, STARC Systems temporary wall solutions were the answer to their problem as noted by the project management company: “I am glad to express the diligence, accuracy, and world-class customer service which STARC rendered to us. The ship manager was delighted with the service and the appearance of STARC Systems’ walls!”
