Manufacturing Today Spotlights STARC's Role Helping Combat the Spread of COVID

STARC Systems was recently featured in Manufacturing Today magazine for "Leading the Way" to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. The article describes how fast the company has grown, within the temporary containment niche.  The spotlight adds color to STARC's origins containing dust and debris during construction to evolving and investing for instant negative pressure isolation rooms during the COVID-19 pandemic.  

The STARC team's ability to react to the moment awarded them an investment by Maine Technology Institute (MTI) from its state-funded Maine Technology Asset Fund 2.5. The award will help fund automated manufacturing equipment to reduce machining bottlenecks, manage a more complex product assortment, and increase the availability of equipment and labor for R&D on isolation specific solutions. 

Throughout 2020, production tripled, and the demand for infection control in overwhelmed hospitals and healthcare facilities continues to surge. As the company looks to the coming year, they will focus on providing effective solutions to businesses' challenges.
