Renovations without Scheduling Impact
St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center had a unique challenge: The facility needed to separate areas within its Wound Care program, including hyperbaric chambers. Because of code requirements, the hyperbaric chambers needed to be enclosed, separated from the wound treatment area.

The Challenge
A traditional drywall with doors and windows was not an option. The construction would be too disruptive to the staff and patients and would be costly to complete.
St. Mary’s looked for a safe and secure temporary wall containment system that was airtight, washable, and sound attenuating. Also, the walls needed to pass Class A fire rating.
Our Solution
The dust barrier temporary wall system for St. Mary’s was made to order for this specific project. “I was intrigued with these systems. The prefab modular containment panels were safe, secure, airtight, washable, and sound attenuating. The panels are reusable, providing a GREEN solution, and they can be easily relocated and adjusted to fit,” said Ron Vachon, St. Mary’s Director of Plant Operations.
The Results

There was no dust or debris during setup or takedown. The pre-assembled windows in the panels provided a viewing area for the Wound Care program.
