STARC Systems Opens 107,000-Square-Foot Manufacturing Facility in Brunswick to Support Continued Growth

Brunswick, Maine —May 14, 2026 — STARC Systems, a Maine-based manufacturer of reusable temporary construction wall systems, will celebrate the grand opening of its new 107,000-square-foot manufacturing and operations facility in Brunswick on May 19, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth.

The new facility expands STARC’s manufacturing capacity and logistics operations, enabling the company to meet rising nationwide demand for its reusable modular wall systems used on construction projects in healthcare facilities, data centers, airports, commercial buildings, and other complex occupied environments.

The grand opening will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony with company leadership, local officials, and community partners, followed by a celebration with STARC employees.

Founded by contractor Tim Hebert, STARC sold its first product in 2014 and has grown rapidly while serving construction projects across the United States. Today the company employs 136 people and continues to expand its operations to support contractors working in some of the most demanding construction environments.

In its early years, STARC benefited from support from organizations such as the Maine Technology Institute and TechPlace at Brunswick Landing, along with investment partners including Blue Heron Capital and North Branch Capital, which helped the company scale its manufacturing and product development efforts.

Designed to support that growth, the Brunswick facility includes expanded warehousing, three full shipping bays, and increased manufacturing space intended to improve production efficiency while maintaining the quality and reliability customers expect from STARC products.

The facility was developed in partnership with Priority Real Estate Group, which led the design and construction of the project, helping bring STARC’s vision for the space to life.

“This building is an exciting milestone for STARC, but what it really represents is the work our team has put in to get here,” said Chris Vickers, President and CEO of STARC Systems. “Over the last several years we’ve grown quickly, and this new facility gives our people the space and tools they need to keep doing great work for our customers. We’re proud to keep building this company—and these products—right here in Maine.”

The company also credits the support of its contractor partners and customers, whose projects helped drive the company’s early growth.

The new facility positions STARC to scale production while maintaining the high standards that have helped establish the company as a trusted partner for contractors working in complex occupied construction environments.

Local officials and economic development leaders are expected to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony, recognizing the company’s continued investment in Maine manufacturing and workforce growth.

The grand opening celebration will take place at STARC’s new facility at 16 Katahdin Drive in Brunswick.
