Working on specs or submittals? Here are the questions we hear all the time — and the answers that make your paperwork easier.
Similar to UL, STARC certifies and lists its solutions through InterTek. All STARC products -- RealWall, LiteBarrier, FireblockWall and StackBarrier(A) are certified and listed for ASTM E84 Class A flame and smoke spread ratings. FireblockWall is listed fro ASTM-E119 (one hour fire barrier standards) as well as tested to UL 263. Additional certifications, including acoustic and structural performance for RealWall and LiteBarrier, can be found in each product’s spec packet.
Each spec package includes both — written specifications and relevant certifications. If you need to incorporate STARC temporary walls directly into your construction documents, floor plans or models, check out files available at the BIM support page.
Specs are reviewed and updated regularly to reflect product improvements, new certifications, and code-related changes. Each document includes a revision date so you can confirm you’re using the latest version.
Yes. all STARC wall solutions provide STC ratings in the technical performance section of the product page. Acoustic data also appears in the performance section of the spec sheet and is supported by independent testing.
